The app, screen by screen

  1. A match in thirty seconds.

Wheels, not a keyboard: the format played, your side, your partner, then the score, set by set.

  2. Your ELO moves. It tells you why.

Every match moves your Puntoro ELO, and a tap on the number breaks the calculation down: the expected result, the K factor, the margin in games.

  3. Your progress, month after month.

Your FFT ranking, your win rate, your streaks and the reliability of your ELO, on a single page.

  4. A tournament’s level, before you enter.

A score out of 20, measured on the registered pairs and calibrated to the category. The hotter the bar, the sharper you will need to play. With your Ten’Up account linked.

The Puntoro ELO

An ELO that explains every point.

Your ELO is computed from the matches you log, and every change is explained on tap: the expected result, the K factor, the margin in games.

  1. 1
Beating stronger pairs pays a lot.The expected result makes the gap: the less likely the win, the more it pays.
  2. 2
Losing to them costs little. An ordinary loss does not punish you — you have no reason to hide it.
  3. 3
A close loss costs less than a heavy one.The margin is read in games: 6-7 6-7 is not 2-6 2-6.

Puntoro ELO · 1,186

A reliability gauge.

It says how solid your ELO is: the number of matches, how recent they are, and the games played without a score. Hiding a score does not raise your ELO — it makes it less reliable, and that shows.

The Puntoro ELO is an internal indicator with no official value. The FFT ranking remains the only official ranking.

FAQ

What people ask us.

Is Puntoro free?

Yes. Logging your matches, the ELO and its explanation, open games, The Circle, importing your FFT data, your Team and the tournament calendar make up the core: it is free, ad-free, and it stays that way. An optional offer may add convenience features; it takes nothing away from the core.

Do I need an account?

Yes, to use the app: it keeps a copy of your logbook and lets you find it on another phone. Sign in with Google or with a code received by email. A friend you invite to a game needs neither an account nor the app.

Do I need an FFT licence?

No. The logbook, the ELO, the stats and the games work for everyone. With an FFT ranking you follow it month after month; with a Ten’Up account you import your record.

Is Puntoro linked to the FFT?

No. Puntoro is an independent app: it is not published, endorsed or sponsored by the French Tennis Federation or by Ten’Up. The FFT ranking is the only official ranking; the Puntoro ELO is an internal indicator.

What about iPhone?

The iPhone version is in the works: the app already runs there in testing. It will come after Android.

How do I delete my account?

From the app (Profile → Delete my account), or from the account deletion page (in French), without installing the app. Everything is erased, on our servers and on your phone.
